President Arvind Singh
The State President serves as the chief student leader and official representative of the Mississippi Technology Student Association. The President presides over all state officer meetings and major conferences, oversees execution of the state program of work, and ensures coordination among all officers. This role includes leading statewide initiatives, maintaining communication with advisors and national TSA, and representing Mississippi TSA at the National TSA Conference and other official functions.
Vice President Zariyah Jackson
The State Vice President supports the President in carrying out statewide initiatives and assumes presidential responsibilities when necessary. The Vice President assists in conference planning, officer coordination, and chapter engagement efforts across the state. This role also involves overseeing committee work, supporting leadership development initiatives, and serving as a liaison between the state officer team and local chapters.
Secretary Thaddeus Halsell
The State Secretary is responsible for maintaining accurate records and documentation for Mississippi TSA. Duties include recording minutes for officer meetings, managing official correspondence, organizing important documents, and supporting administrative logistics for conferences and events. The Secretary ensures that organizational records are clear, professional, and accessible to advisors and officers.
Treasurer Taryn Thompson
The State Treasurer assists with financial oversight and responsible management of organizational funds. This role supports budgeting for conferences and events, tracks expenditures, and works closely with advisors to ensure financial procedures are followed. The Treasurer promotes fiscal responsibility and transparency while helping ensure resources are allocated effectively to support statewide programs.
Reporter Samecia Brinson
The State Reporter leads public relations and communications for Mississippi TSA. Responsibilities include managing social media presence, creating promotional content, documenting conferences and events, and highlighting student achievements across the state. The Reporter helps shape the public image of Mississippi TSA while ensuring timely and professional communication with members, advisors, and the public.
Sergeant at Arms Alonzo Green
The State Sergeant-at-Arms supports the orderly operation of meetings, conferences, and official events. This role assists with event setup, room management, and logistical coordination while maintaining professionalism and adherence to TSA standards. The Sergeant-at-Arms plays a key role in ensuring events run smoothly and efficiently.
